Chutney dosai


Today I am going to share with you my favorite dish  called “chutney dosai” ,we used to make this chutney dosai  often  or whenever  we prepare coconut chutney for Idly or dosai.
With no further delay let me first explain, how to make tasty chutney daosai….
To prepare this recipe we should need coconut chutney handy .Please see my coconut chutney 1 and coconut chutney 2 recipe for preparing chutney.we can use any of these version to prepare chutney.

Step 1: Heat dosai tawa and spread dosai ,let it cook for 2 mins and now flip and cook the dosai once ,after it cooked well again flip the dosai and spread coconut chutney to it as I have shown in the picture below, sprinkle some oil .

Step 2: Now carefully flip the dosai to another side and cook for 2 mins by adding gingerly oil on to the corners of the dosai.

Step 3: again flip it to the front side and fold it.. Remove from heat and serve hot ..
Very simple and tasty chutney dosai is ready in no time..

Cauliflower kurma



Cauliflower kurma

Step 1: Cut cauliflower in to flowerets and add them in to boiling water with a pinch of turmeric powder and leave them until they are half cooked. Then Drain the water and keep it aside 

Step 2: Take some chopped ginger and garlic cloves, 4 spoons of grated coconut, 3 spoons of roasted gram (pottu kadalai) and grind altogether to a fine paste by adding some water to it and keep it aside.

Step 3: heat oil in a pan, add 1 spoon of mustard, let the mustard sputter, add 1 medium size chopped onion and sauté until onion turns golden brown and add 1 chopped tomato, sauté until tomatoes turns mushy and add ½ spoon of chilli powder and cook until raw smell goes.


Step 4: Now add cauliflower in to it and mix well by adding salt and grinded coconut masala and mix well and let it cook for 3 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Cauliflower fry or Gobi 65
Cauliflower fry is one of my most favorite Dishes; Today I am going to share my favorite recipe to make Cauliflower fry or Gobi 65
 Let’s learn how to make cauliflower fry or Gobi 65 within few simple steps.
 Needed:
Cauliflower: cut in to flowerets 1 cup
Rice flour: 4 spoons
Corn flour: 1 spoon
Pepper powder: ½ spoon
Sambar powder: ½ spoon
Red chilli powder: ¼ spoon
Hing powder: pinch
Salt:  to taste
Oil: for frying
Thick curd: 1 spoon
Ginger garlic paste: 1 spoon
Method:
Step 1: take a bowl add rice flour, corn flour, pepper powder, red chilli powder, sambar powder, hing, salt and mix well by adding 6 to 7 spoons of water and keep it side


Step 2: Add cauliflower flowerets in to the boiling water and add pinch of turmeric powder and cook it partially .Then, drain all the water and dip those cauliflower flowerets in to the prepared flour mixture.


Step 3: heat oil in a kadai and fry those dipped cauliflower till golden brown and remove from heat.


(Note: Add a small piece of ginger in to the oil in kadai, and remove it only at the end .This will prevent indigestion)
Step 4: now heat another pan and add 1 spoon of oil,1 spoon of ginger garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell goes and add 1 spoon of thick yogurt or curd and sauté well for 10 seconds ,now toss those fried gobies in to it and serve hot .


Restaurant style Gobi 65 is ready to taste.
 (i have not added safron food colour to my recipe because i made this for my kid, if you need your gobi 65 to be red in colour add pinch of safron food colour while making the batter.)
