Lemon rice
Step 1: keep handy all the needed ingredients,
Step 2: heat 2 spoons of gingerly oil in a pan, add
1 spoon of mustard seeds, let the mustard seeds sputter and Now add 2 spoons of
urad dall,1 ½ spoon of channa dal, sauté
until dal becomes slight brown .add 2 red chill, 2 chopped green chilli,
chopped ginger, curry leaves,1/4 spoon of hing (perungayam) and1/4 spoon of
turmeric powder(I have added turmeric powder to my squeezed lemon juice and kept ). sauté well for 30 seconds and add squeezed lemon juice(I added
3 lemon)and add saltas needed.
Note: do not squeeze lemon till end, it will bring whilst taste to your lemon rice.
Step 3: now add boiled rice in it and mix well in
low flame (do not over heat the lime, add rice immediately after adding lemon
juice).add garnish with coriander leaves.
Tasty and spicy lemon rice is ready ,eat it with crispy potato porial to taste more…..
