 THAVALA ADAI

 THAVALA ADAI is a kind of adai variety.This dish is famouse in selam,tamilnadu.It
can be served with idly podi or red chilli chutney.Thavala adai is the most special and healthy breakfast.


lets see how to prepare ,

step 1:
take raw rice - 1 cup
toor dal - 1/4cup
urad dal - 2 table spoons
step 2: Add the above said ingredients in to blender and grind it to a coarse powder.
step 3:soak those grinded powder in butter milk and keep it aside for 4hrs
now the batter is ready.
step 4: heat pan , add oil,1 spoon mustard seeds, 2 spoons of urad dal,2 spoons of channa dal,curry leaves,then 3 finely chopped onions and saute well.switch off the flame ,and mix those sauteed dal and onions in to the batter.

step 5: now heat dosa tawa and spread the batter ,like how we spread dosa .keep a lid on top for 2 mins till Thavala adai cooks sight brown. then remove it from the tawa.no need to flip and cook the adai
serve hot with idly podi,or red chilli chutney.
