POTATO PORIAL
This is my favorite potato curry recipe.Amy family members like this curry and ask me to do frequently.And this is my daughter's favorite too.It is the pure South Indian dish can be served with sambar and rasam.
Step 1: Wash ,peel the outer skin , cut in to medium size pieces & pressure cook potatoes.
Step 2: Chop one medium size onion and keep it aside
Step 3: Heat kadai with oil and temper mustard seeds, curry leaves, pinch of hing, Now add chopped onion and saute well,Till the onion turns slight golden color.
Step 4: Now add sambar powder ( if no, then add red chilli pdr), turmeric pdr,
Saute for 2 mins and add boiled potatoes .mix well ,
And leave it on the low flame for 10 to 15 mins, So that the potatoes will get nicely roasted .
Step 5: garnish with corriander leaves and curry leaves .
