PEAS PULAV


PEAS PULAV
NEEDED:
Coconut milk: extract 2 cups of coconut milk.
Ginger garlic paste: 2 spoons
Green peas: 1 cup
Mint and coriander leaves: together ½ cup (finely chopped)
Basmati rice: wash and soak one cup of basmati rice for 30 minutes and drain the water
Ground masala: bay leaf, fennel seeds, cinnamon
Chopped onions: 1 big onion
Green chilli: smashed

METHOD:
Heat oil in a pan, add ground masala, sauté until the aroma come out, now add ginger garlic paste& 2 smashed green chilli and sauté until raw smell goes out , now add chopped onions and sauté until onions becomes translucent .

Add green peas and sauté well.

Now add 2 cups of coconut milk, cook for 1 minute.

Now add mint and coriander leaves, mix well. Cook for 1 more minute by adding required salt.


Now transfer the mixture to a container and add the soaked and drained basmati rice, mix well and place the container in to pressure cooker and cook for 3 whistles and serve hot.


(NOTE: before placing the containers in to pressure cooker add 1 inch water to the pressure cooker and then place the container inside it)

peas pulav taste good with yummy onion raita...
