MANGO RICE(Mangai sadham)
Spiced and tangy rice made from raw unripe green mangoes.The tempering of curry leaves, mustard seeds and asafoetida gives very good flavors in the rice.It is the very easy and tasty Lunch box receipe.
STEP 1: Wash and Peel the Mango skin and Grate it and keep it aside. Heat the oil/Ghee in the pan and add mustard seeds,Urad dal,channa dal,curry leaves,Pinch of asafoetida(or hing powder),pinch of turmeric, Chopped green chillies, chopped ginger,broken red chilli and Saute for 1 min .
STEP 2:Add grated mangoes ,salt ,Saute for 1 min , Then add boiled rice and saute well.
Garnish with corriander leaves .
Mouth watering Mango rice is redy to taste.
