BEETROOT PORIAL

Beetroot porial is very simple to prepare and also it goes very well with rice .
Today I will show you how to prepare south Indian /Tamil Nadu style  of Beetroot porial from the following steps below,
 



 STEP 1: Pressure cook Beetroot for 3-4 minutes (2 whistles) and keep it aside.
STEP 2: Heat oil in a pan and add,mustard seeds, Urad dal and cumin,let it splutter. Add in the curry leaves, green chillies and the minced ginger , fry for 1 min.
STEP 3: Now add pressure cooked Beetroot,1/4 spoon of sambar powder and saute well,
cook for 3 to 4 mins
 
STEP 4: now add grated coconut. . saute well. To garnish add some coriander leaves .

STEP 5: Switch off the flame and remove it from heat. Serve with rice.
