CURD RICE





Curd rice

Curd rice is a south Indian dish. It is a perfect end to any meal. curd rice tastes good with raw mango pickle.
 





STEP 1: Heat pan ,add 2 spoons of ghee, add mustard seeds, when mustard starts popping add urad dal and saute well, When dal turns slight brown, add in the  finely chopped ginger, curry leaves, and green chilies. Sauté them for a minute.
STEP2:Switch off the flame and add those in the rice.mix well. Now add yogurt (curd),salt(as needed) and milk.Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix well . Curd rice is ready to be served. 

STEP3: I will usually add some pomegranate seeds to the curd rice as my family members like it very much .pomegranate  seeds will add more taste to your curd rice.
